What is AGDC?

The Australian Game Developers Conference (AGDC) is Australia's leading forum where industry professionals gather to discuss the latest in cutting edge technology and the changing face of the game development industry.
Conference sessions include a mixture of keynotes, technical panels and tutorials presented by industry leaders from game design, development, publishing and platforms.

Breakout sessions comprise of the following streams:
- Art
- Game Design
- Programming & Production
- Platforms
- Business Matters
- Audio
- Education/Careers

Tutorials concentrate on specific development platforms as well as introduce new tools. Attendees learn from the actual developers and designers that have developed some of most creative games in the industry. Technical sessions will continue to teach game developers about video, audio, programming, game design and production.

Key international speakers will be discussing the development of their latest blockbuster games, the future of the games industry, new platforms and online games.

The conference also includes a broad range of social activities, which allow delegates to network with the best from around the world. The social program includes the Big Party Night, Delegate Cocktail Party, VIP & Executive Cocktail Party , Women in Games Luncheon & the Gala Awards Dinner.
